Job DescriptionWorking as part of the accounts team, gaining a knowledge of a variety of accounting and invoicing procedures. We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and cheerful team player, who is quick to learn and keen to help. We will train the successful candidate, and help you with everything you will need to know about a professional practice.
The role will include management of our practice income in the form of project fees, and management of project costs in the form of supplier invoices and staff timesheets and expenses. These functions are pivotal to the success and smooth running of our company. There will also be involvement with processing payments received from our clients.
You will be exposed to various roles within the business but here are some of the main things you will experience
- Client Liaison with new and prospective companies
- Dealing with incoming enquires both via telephone and email
- Data entry onto Spreadsheets
- Management of our practice income.
- Project fees, reviewing and updating where required
- Management of project costs
- Dealing with supplier invoices
- Staff timesheets and expenses.
- Processing payments
These functions are pivotal to the success and smooth running of our company.

You will work to achieve the highly recognised AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) qualification and receive MAAT (Member of Association of Accounting Technicians) status.
You will be learning about all aspects of Accounting and learning new skills related to how businesses work. On the Apprenticeship there will be a good mixture of hands-on practical work and written work.
