Accounting (75% of the role)
Reconciling Bank Accounts
Preparing VAT Returns
Calculating Accruals and Prepayments
Maintaining Fixed Asset Registers and Depreciation
Administration (25% of the role)
Scanning and Distributing Post
Chasing and Booking in Client Records
General Administration, shopping, banking etc
The company runs a paperless office using IRIS software Xero and Microsoft Office. Training will be given on the software, however experience would be preferable. This role would suit an extremely well organised, accurate and methodical worker.
Working WeekMonday – Friday 9:00am – 5:30pm 37.5 Hours per week
Requirements & Prospects
QualificationsIdeally a minimum 4 GCSE’s C and above Including Maths, English and ICT (or equivalents)

You will work to achieve the highly recognised AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) qualification and receive MAAT (Member of Association of Accounting Technicians) status.
You will be learning about all aspects of Accounting and learning new skills related to how businesses work. On the Apprenticeship there will be a good mixture of hands-on practical work and written work.
