This is a fantastic opportunity for an Accounts apprentice to join a dynamic and growing company, reporting directly to the Director You will be undertaking activities in all aspects of accounts and office administration, along with learning new skills in using databases and excel. Duties will include (not exhaustive)


Bank Reconciliations
VAT, Debtors, Creditor and PAYE Control Accounts
Processing and preparation of VAT Returns
Preparation of simple Taxation Computations
Obtain full knowledge and use of the accounting system
Dealing with scanning, incoming and outgoing post
Processing Invoices
Dealing with incoming email in connection with queries
Daily electronic filing as appropriate to your work
Entering data onto spreadsheets
Maintain the highest level of service and a quick response time to all incoming enquiries

Working Week

Monday – Friday 9:00am – 5:30pm


Requirements & Prospects


Ideally a minimum 5 GCSE’s C and above Including Maths, English and ICT (or equivalents)

Throughout the duration of your Apprenticeship you will be required to attend the 3aaa Accountancy Academy in on a day release basis, the remainder of your training will be completed in the workplace.

You will work to achieve the highly recognised AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) qualification and receive MAAT (Member of Association of Accounting Technicians) status.

You will be learning about all aspects of Accounting and learning new skills related to how businesses work. On the Apprenticeship there will be a good mixture of hands-on practical work and written work.
