Job Description

A fantastic opportunity based in Thurmaston, Leicester. M&E Accident Repair Centre is looking for their next Business Admin apprentice.



  • Ensure all customers and visitors receive a pleasant and courteous welcome, promoting the professional image of the company.
  • Ensure all calls, internal and external, are answered swiftly and directed efficiently.
  • Serve as first point of contact for Private & Fleet customer. Update these customers regularly on the progress of their vehicle.
  • Daily update of customer and internal database.
  • Type up invoices and prepare monthly statements.
  • Ensure all handwritten documents are legible and accurate.
  • Maintain a good operational knowledge of office equipment. Ensure all office equipment is functioning.
  • Review, order and maintain stationery stocks to ensure continuity of service.
  • Handle all incoming post and distribute to appropriate personnel swiftly and efficiently.
  • Keep reception area clean and tidy, and ensure all reading matter is displayed in an orderly manner. Ensure adequate refreshment is provided.
  • Ensure the accurate and timely completion of administration and operational tasks.
  • Capturing accurate and relevant information.
  • Work effectively within the business team and bodyshop to ensure industry-leading

standards of customer care and satisfaction at all times. 

  • Identify and escalate issues and participate in any problem solving which will make it easier for our Customers, improve our business, or reduce/eliminate risks to our business.
  • Contribute to creating the best place to work by sharing best practice and supporting your colleagues.
  • Ensure the bodyshop presents the best possible image to customers and the public by maintaining a tidy, professional and welcoming environment.
  • To comply with BS 10125 and assist the company in all areas concerning BS 10125 (British Standard for vehicle repairs).

Working Week

Monday – Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm 37.5 hrs pw


Requirements & Prospects


Ideally a minimum 4 GCSE’s C and above Including Maths, English and ICT (or equivalents)
