We are looking for a driven and ambitious Apprentice Finance Administrator to join our team at the Madejski Stadium. You will be supporting the cash office operation on site, while undertaking administrative duty for the finance and Levy catering department overall. Reporting into the Location Accountant while completing an AAT qualification

Working within the busy finance team based in the Compass site you will be completing the following tasks

Change order and reconciling delivery from G4S
Ensure cash takings are securely counted, banked and recorded
Preparation of trading floats • Milking of tills to reduce risk of theft
Safe counts
Cash reconciliation
Complete sales ledger invoicing for the Madejski Stadium
Communicate with clients by phone and in writing in respect of arrangements.
Liaising with the Head of Hospitality & Head Chef to assist with typing up menus
Ensure office stationary is ordered and restocked when necessary.
Complete all associated administration for the Levy Team as and when required.
Ensuring that accurate records are made and details filed in accordance with company and unit procedure.
Maintain an efficient filing and follow up system for Levy catering department.
Any other reasonable requests by your line manager

Working Week

Monday – Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm

Qualifications

A minimum of 5 GCSE’s C and above Including Maths, English and ICT (or equivalents).

Training

The newly launched Assistant Accountant apprenticeship programme is accredited by the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) and combines outstanding classroom training, dedicated workplace mentorship and on-the-job experience to build the necessary skills, knowledge and behaviours to become a skilled assistant accountant.
The apprenticeship includes:
• AAT L2 Foundation Certificate in Bookkeeping
• SAGE L2 Computerised Accounts
• AAT L3 Advanced Diploma in Accounting AQ 2016
Training and Assessment
• Throughout the first 12 months you will be required to attend the 3aaa Accountancy Academy on average 25-30 days (plus exam days).
• You will attend a full week intensive course to prepare you for the AAT Synoptic Assessment (approx. month 12-14)
• Your dedicated Assessor will visit you in the workplace every 8-12 weeks
• You will be invited to 3aaa Masterclasses presented by industry experts to enrich your learning experience.
The remainder of your training will be completed in the workplace.
