Job Description

Do you live in the Romford / Ilford area? Do you have a keen interest in the health and fitness sector? This health club are looking for a Marketing and Business Administrator to oversee the admin department of the health club as well as to help with the organisation of the clubs marketing and promotion.

Your job will be to work with the management to plan and deliver marketing material including social media, as well as to support with the Admin and reception duties and taking on the following responsibilities and tasks:


  • Answering telephone calls
  • Take and relay messages where necessary
  • Provide accurate information to callers
  • Greet persons entering the organisation
  • Direct persons to correct destination
  • Enter members and prospects data into the computer system
  • Ensure knowledge of staff movements in and out of the organisation
  • Monitor visitor access and maintain security awareness
  • Provide general administrative and clerical support
  • Prepare correspondence and documents
  • Maintain appointment diary either manually or electronically
  • Develop marketing materials
  • Participate with organising and attending marketing and promotional events
  • Research and prepare marketing / promotional literature
  • Monitor and maintain office equipment
  • Control inventory relevant to reception area
  • Tidy and maintain the reception area at all times
  • Assist with maintaining the cleanliness of the facilities

Working Week

Monday – Friday 9:00am – 3:00pm / Monday – Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm


Requirements & Prospects


Ideally a minimum 4 GCSE’s C and above Including Maths, English and ICT (or equivalents)
