Job Description

An excellent opportunity has arisen to work for a well-established Software Company, based in Speke. They are looking for a confident, technically minded individual to join their Software Support team and you will be responsible for the support and helpdesk of their ever-growing customer base.
  • Taking telephone and internet support calls
  • Providing desktop software and mobile app support
  • Remotely diagnosing, fault finding, troubleshooting, documenting & resolving software & system issues using given tools (Freshdesk, Jira, MS SQL, Teamviewer, SOTI Mobicontrol)
  • Escalating issues as necessary to senior levels
  • Maintaining software documentation including user guides and release notes

Working Week

40 hours per week between the hours of 8am and 6pm Monday – Friday


Requirements & Prospects


Ideally a minimum 4 GCSE’s C and above Including Maths, English and ICT (or equivalents)

Throughout the duration of your Apprenticeship you will be required to attend the 3aaa Technology Academy in Liverpool for up to 12 weeks on a block release basis for structured training. The remainder of your training will be completed in the workplace with your Employer. You will work towards a Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship for IT, Software, Web and Telecoms Professionals. The qualifications consist of:
• Edexcel Advanced Apprenticeship in IT, Software, Web and Telecoms
• L3 Diploma in ICT Professional Competence
• L3 Extended Diploma in ICT Systems and Principles
• Level 2 Functional Skills English, Maths, ICT (if applicable)
