Job Description

To deliver an efficient and accurate recruitment administration service for both the permanent and Bank Team. Support for all activities associated with recruitment and the elements of the employee lifecycle within agreed procedures, standards, timescales and performance levels and in compliance with all statutory requirements.

Main duties and responsibilities

Undertake recruitment administration as required using electronic applicant tracking system (Trac) and housekeeping of the Staff Bank system (Clarity).
Coordinate and support the end to end recruitment process including, posting job adverts, preparing offer letters and contracts, conducting pre-employment checks on all new employees which includes checking ID’s and requesting and following up references.  
 Work with Payroll to ensure new starters are set up and internal moves are communicated in a timely manner. Investigate timesheet and invoice queries as requested.
Maintain availability of Staff Bank pool of candidates, selecting appropriate candidates to fill requirements and assign on the Staff Bank system..
Support with booking of Locum staff from external suppliers where operationally required. 
Manage departmental mailboxes ensuring emails are responded to in a timely manner and escalated where appropriate.
Log the expiry of fixed term contracts and Visas.
Create and file accurate personnel records for permanent and contract staff, ensuring the electronic file is kept up to date with all required documentation.
Assist with assessment centres for roles within the organisation.
Ensure the recruitment database is accurate and kept up to date.
Ensure all changes to terms and conditions are communicated to the Payroll and wider HR team.
Additional Duties: 

 Working as part of the wider HR team Contribute to the central HR team, its objectives and strategy undertake any other duties or projects appropriate for the job, as required by the Recruitment & Staff Bank Manager

Working Week

Monday – Friday (Hours to be confirmed)


Requirements & Prospects


A minimum of 5 GCSE’s C and above Including Maths, English and ICT (or equivalents)
