Job Description

Excellent opportunity working for an established IT company serving the domestic and small business user market with IT solutions. You will be working in a 1st line support role and respond to and log calls, escalating calls as required, on the support of hardware and software for all devices and applications including Servers, Desktops and Laptops
·          Develop the skills to provide first line of support for all users

·          Answer telephone calls

·          Develop the skills to respond to and log calls, escalating calls as required with key support members

·          Ability to follow-up on all tickets where applicable

·          Develop the skills to support of hardware and software for all devices and applications from Servers, Desktops and Laptops

·          Develop the skills to provide end user and product support for printers and multi-functional devices

·          Ability to collate information to create quotations for Clients

·          Ability to maintain all stock levels of equipment

·          Develop the skills to create and maintain operational documentation for all Clients

·          Develop the skills to manage and set up new hardware following IT policies and procedures

·         Ability to carry out duties to help support the company’s mission statement in line with the Company’s Values

Working Week

Monday – Friday 9:00am – 5:30pm


Requirements & Prospects


A minimum of 5 GCSE’s C and above Including Maths, English and ICT (or equivalents)

Throughout the duration of your Apprenticeship you will be required to attend the 3aaa Technology Academy in Guildford for up to 12 weeks on a block release basis for structured training. The remainder of your training will be completed in the workplace with your Employer. You will work towards a Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship for IT, Software, Web and Telecoms Professionals. The qualifications consist of:
• Edexcel Advanced Apprenticeship in IT, Software, Web and Telecoms
• L3 Diploma in ICT Professional Competence
• L3 Extended Diploma in ICT Systems and Principles
• Level 2 Functional Skills English, Maths, ICT (if applicable)
