Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity with a fast growing company where you will gain experience in a range of IT areas, in particular specialist audio telephone systems and products.

Admiral Audio Visual is a growing company and has an opportunity for an Apprentice technical adviser. The role will involve:

  • Maintain excellent knowledge of our portfolio of products and services in order to understand customers’ needs
  • Provide in house technical support to all staff
  • New business prospecting – ensuring that it is up to date and accurate with regular telephone contact maximising new business potential
  • Follow through of marketing materials and promotions
  • Update all information and calls onto company database
  • Data-cleansing of company database

You will receive full training and support from the company’s director. Working times can be flexible.

Working Week

Monday – Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm 37.5 Hours per week

Qualifications

Ideally a minimum 4 GCSE’s C and above Including Maths, English and ICT (or equivalents)

Desired Skills

You should be computer literate and comfortable using a wide variety of software programmes. Any technical IT experience would be a distinct advantage. It is essential that you have a confident telephone manner, and are an articulate speaker on the phone. You must have excellent communication and customer service skills.

Personal Qualities

Workflow Audio Visual are looking for someone with a positive attitude and motivation, who is enthusiastic about developing their IT career. You should be a good team player and a confident individual who is able to work well in a small team.

Training

Throughout the duration of your Apprenticeship you will be required to attend the 3aaa Technology Academy in Bedford for up to 12 weeks on a block release basis for structured training. The remainder of your training will be completed in the workplace with your Employer. You will work towards a Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship for IT, Software, Web and Telecoms Professionals. The qualifications consist of:
• Edexcel Advanced Apprenticeship in IT, Software, Web and Telecoms
• L3 Diploma in ICT Professional Competence
• L3 Extended Diploma in ICT Systems and Principles
• Level 2 Functional Skills English, Maths, ICT (if applicable)
