Job Description

During your apprenticeship you will be trained in all aspects of the role and by completion will be able to:

 

  • Use your coding knowledge to meet specifications
  • Test and remove bugs to deliver error-free code
  • Ensure that all work has accurate reporting and error logging.
  • Ensure usability of website on multiple platforms and browsers.
  • Monitoring and maintaining web server and website performance.

Working Week

Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm 40 hours per week

Qualifications

Ideally a minimum 4 GCSE’s C and above Including Maths, English and ICT (or equivalents)

Training

Throughout the duration of your Apprenticeship you will be required to attend the 3aaa Technology Academy in Stoke-On-Trent for a day release basis ever week for 46 weeks structured training. The remainder of your training will be completed in the workplace with your Employer. Assessment of the Competence component (Edexcel) will be carried out in the workplace over the full duration of the program. The assessor will visit the apprentices in the workplace at-least once every 6-8 weeks to gather evidence. Your training will consist of:

• Edexcel BTEC Level 4 Diploma in Professional Competence for IT and Telecoms Professionals (QCF).
• City & Guilds Level 4 Diploma for ICT Professional
• Level 2 Functional Skills English, Maths, ICT (if applicable)
