Job Description

Do you want to be a part of a successful company going through an extended period of growth? Working with the Project Management (Delivery) Team, you will work with clients who are household names, building websites in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript & JQuery.
Our client is currently going through an exciting period of growth and are looking to add another Web Development Apprentice to their established team.

They currently have a great combination of experienced staff and apprentices but require further support in the web team.

Typical roles and responsibilities will include but are not necessarily limited to the following:

·         Build client sites using HTML5, CSS3, JQuery, JavaScript & Bootstrap

·         Monitoring the Customer Support Desk

·         Bug fixes and amending HTML, CSS Code

·         Systems integration of basic e-commerce websites

·         Testing the functionality (and eventually code) of websites

·         ISO9001 Auditing – ensuring websites and software adhere to Quality Guidelines

·         Some Project Management work

EasyWebstore will expect the successful candidate to have some knowledge of basic programming languages such as HTML and CSS, however full training and support will be provided.

Working Week

Monday – Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm


Requirements & Prospects


A minimum of 5 GCSE’s C and above Including Maths and English (or equivalents)

Future Prospects

The opportunity to progress onto a level 4 apprenticeship or secure a full-time position will be available for the appropriate candidate.

Throughout the duration of your Apprenticeship (typically 15 months) you will be required to attend the 3aaa Technology Academy in Debry for 16 days of training. The remainder of your training will be completed in the workplace with your Employer. You will work towards a Level 3 Apprenticeship standard –Software Development Technician. The qualifications consist of:
• Level 2 Functional Skills English and Maths (if applicable)
• Knowledge Module 1 – Software Development Methodologies Part 1 (Introduction)
• Knowledge Module 2 – Programming Part 1 (Introduction)
• Knowledge Module 1 – Software Development Methodologies Part 2 (Plus Exam)
• Knowledge Module 2 – Programming Part 2 (Plus Exam)
Knowledge Modules are specified by the British Computer Society (BCS)
