Are you a budding web developer looking for your career in software to start? This role is based at an established, ambitious company & you will be supported & learning from a top software development team.
This is a great role for a budding web developer who wants to get started on their career path in an established and motivated company. You will come into contact with various colleagues and members of staff but you will mainly be working within the software/web development team and your day to day tasks will include, but not be limited to, the following:


·         Software development tasks using HTML to begin with, developing languages further as the course develops

·         Fault diagnostics on websites and monitoring effectiveness of client’s websites

·         Making basic changes to client’s websites

·         Updating information and functions of client’s websites


All training and support will be given on the above throughout the apprenticeship.


Working Week

Monday – Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm


Requirements & Prospects


A minimum of 5 GCSE’s C and above Including Maths and English (or equivalents)

Throughout the duration of your Apprenticeship (typically 15 months) you will be required to attend the 3aaa Technology Academy in Stoke for 16 days of training. The remainder of your training will be completed in the workplace with your Employer. You will work towards a Level 3 Apprenticeship standard –Software Development Technician. The qualifications consist of:
• Level 2 Functional Skills English and Maths (if applicable)
• Knowledge Module 1 – Software Development Methodologies Part 1 (Introduction)
• Knowledge Module 2 – Programming Part 1 (Introduction)
• Knowledge Module 1 – Software Development Methodologies Part 2 (Plus Exam)
• Knowledge Module 2 – Programming Part 2 (Plus Exam)
Knowledge Modules are specified by the British Computer Society (BCS)
