Job DescriptionThe 12 week traineeship will be split into four 3 week blocks. You will gain your CSCS card and receive valuable training in the academy then out on site with our chosen employers.
Traineeships are training programmes that help 16-24 year olds get the skills, basic qualifications and work experience needed to get onto an apprenticeship or secure full time employment. A traineeship can help your CV to stand out and is a nationally recognised training programme which combines practical training in a work place setting and subject learning. Requirements & Prospects
QualificationsNo formal qualification required.
Desired SkillsKeen to succeed, reliable, hardworking and have some experience of the trade.(Although this is not essential) Ability to cope with the physical demands of the role.
Personal QualitiesThis role is very demanding on an individual and will therefore require a large amount of stamina to succeed. You need to be willing to learn and have a genuine interest in the construction trade. Must be a good team player and have the ability to get on with all people at all levels.
Future ProspectsYou will either receive a formal interview for any suitable jobs/Apprenticeships or you will be offered an exit interview with written feedback and evidence of your time and activities during your placement.
You will also gain knowledge on mixing mortar (ratios and consistency’s) calculating walls and correct loading out techniques.
