Job Description

An excellent opportunity has arisen to work for an established Awarding Organisation based in Speke. This will be a great opportunity for the right individual who will be working alongside the Customer Service Team and providing a high level of support to the Customer Relations Manager

Initially the role will encompass varying duties involved in a Customer Service Role.

This will include, but not be limited to:


  • Deal with enquiries/queries from Centres.
  • Communicate changes to Centres and staff.
  • Work with Open Awards staff to ensure customer information is effectively communicated.
  • Typing, photocopying, maintenance of office equipment.
  • Maintain stationery supplies and printed supplies e.g. letterheads, certificates.
  • Carry out filing and scanning
  • Dealing with general email enquiries and post.
  • Answering telephone and dealing with general telephone enquiries.
  • Taking minutes at meetings.
  • Manage meeting room bookings.
  • Book travel, accommodation, conferences for staff.


Working Week

Mon – Thurs 9.00 – 5.00pm Friday – 9.00 – 4.00pm 35 Hours per week


Requirements & Prospects


Ideally a minimum 4 GCSE’s C and above Including Maths, English and ICT (or equivalents)

Future Prospects

After the apprentice has completed their Level 3 Business Admin qualification they will be given the opportunity to continue as a full time member of staff within the company. There will also be the opportunity to progress to Level 4.
