We are looking to recruit a Business Admin Apprentice to help with the running of our busy property management company in the West Midlands. You will be assisting with all aspects of business administration. Dealing with customers on a daily basis so an outgoing and confident manner is essential.
Range of Tasks:

The role will be varied and cover a range of tasks. A selection of the key tasks involved are:

 

  1. Administration duties including answering the phone, ordering stationery, confirming meetings and replying to general inbound email enquiries.
  2. Office management and support
  3. Supporting colleagues and customers in external meetings
  4. Meeting visitors and showing them to the relevant place. This is massively important due to the successful candidate being the first point of contact for any visitor or customer.
  5. Managing outbound post and letter writing
  6. Mail merging
  7. Other basic administration duties.
  8. The above tasks are not an exhaustive list of duties and the post holder will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by their changing role within the organisation and the overall business objectives of the organisation.

 

 

There will also be a chance for the successful candidate to get involved in other duties around the workplace to increase their skills and experiences throughout the apprenticeship. Some of these may include:

 

  • Marketing Administration
  • Sales Data Administration
  • Invoice management
  • Crediting invoices
  • Issuing credit notes (either by email or phone call)
  • Data capture and research – cross NPT and APG
  • System management

 

Working Week

Monday – Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm

Qualifications

Ideally a minimum 5 GCSE’s C and above Including Maths, English and ICT (or equivalents)

Desired Skills

Knowledge of Microsoft packages including Excel and Word.
Good telephone manner.
Good communication skills.
Confident.
Willingness to learn and progress.

Future Prospects

Opportunity to progress to level 4 in Business Admin. Potential to progress within the company.
