Job Description

Assisting in the daily administrative duties and processes required from taking a customer booking through to the completion of a job.

The candidate will be required to learn the full processes from order generation through to completion of a booking which includes, but is not limited to the following:

  • Fielding phone calls and emails and answering general enquiries – take messages for other team members where enquiries are more complex.
  • There will also be some element of filing, data processing and general administration responsibilities
  • As the role progresses it is anticipated there will be increased responsibilities which will involve liaising with other internal departments and external customers and subcontractors.
  • You will develop excellent communication and organisation skills as you establish a rapport with customers and other subcontractors within the industry.
  • You will be answering telephone queries and maintaining a high standard of correspondence by written letter or by email.
  • This role will require you to reactively manage customer enquiries relating to the status of a delivery and resolution of any problems that may occur during transit.
  • As you gain experience with the company you will gain a broad range of computer skills and experience which will include the use of Microsoft software and leading industry specific software.
  • Supported by your mentor you will be taught how to generate the order process and maintain accurate data information

Working Week

Monday – Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm


Requirements & Prospects


Ideally a minimum 4 GCSE’s C and above Including Maths, English and ICT (or equivalents)
