Your main roles will include, but are not limited to:
Maintaining data on AVEVA’s products and users.
Handling support requests, of a non-technical nature.
Maintaining crucial information.
Keeping stakeholders up to date on new publications.
You will receive practical on-the-job training, which means you’ll be paid a wage and receive the usual benefits of employment such as holiday pay. No two days are the same for our Business Admin’ Apprentice; supporting different teams and systems throughout AVEVA as an integral part of the Product Information Team. A college tutor will visit you in the workplace once a month, providing one-to-one mentoring ensuring you are on the right path towards securing your qualification.
This role sits within the Global Services department and works closely with the team that deals with business data in our support systems.
As well as providing non-technical support to AVEVA’s internal teams and AVEVA’s customers, the role also supports other teams such as Training and Product Support (TPS) by maintaining documents, generating reports and completing other tasks that help keep the office productive.
You are adept at finding solutions for challenges, are structured in the way you approach tasks, logical, meticulous and numerate. You have an eye for detail and can spot errors. You have some knowledge of Microsoft Office from your school days and any experience of HTML would be a real bonus.

Working WeekMonday – Thursday: 09:00 – 17:30 Friday: 09:00 – 17:00 One hour for lunch 37 hours pw

QualificationsA minimum of 5 GCSE’s C and above Including Maths, English and ICT (or equivalents)

Future ProspectsProspects at AVEVA for Apprentices are promising. Although not guaranteed, we aim to offer all our successful Apprentices the opportunity to progress within their chosen field. We are constantly growing and for Apprentices with a strong technical focus and a can-do attitude, progression to a higher-level Apprenticeship is certainly possible.
The qualification will consist of:
• Advanced Apprenticeship in Business and Administration.
• Level 3 Diploma in Business and Administration.
• Level 2 Functional Skills English, Maths & ICT (if applicable).
