Reporting to the Head of Catering & Event Operations, Derbyshire Cricket Club are looking to recruit a Business Administrator to support the Catering and Events team. This role would suit a highly organised and creative individual with a great drive to succeed

• Timely action on calls & correspondence

 Deal with incoming calls and correspondence relating to Catering & Events Operations Team
 Maintain filing systems, particularly in relation to Food Hygiene Standards & Bar Operational procedures
 Ensure adequate stocks of Operational & Compliance Paperwork are printed, available and where directed distributed to the correct area(s).
 Update Function Sheet notice boards with the most up to date amendments to ensure the Operational Team have access to the correct information.
 Update contact lists, rota sheets as prescribed by the Head Chef & Hospitality Operations Manager
 Type up menu’s and costings as prepared by the Catering & Event Operations Team
 Collate pricing updates by liaising with suppliers as required by Head Chef & Hospitality Operations Manager.
 Collate transfer and billing information as detailed by Head Chef & Hospitality Operations Manager.
 Check Staffing information has been completed fully for new starters before handing over to HR Manager for action.
 Typing letters/reports etc.
 Producing Front of House Menus/Tariff’s as required using Brand Guideline templates to ensure Legal Compliance (Bars) and customer information is up to date.
 Assisting managers in all departments as and when required

Working Week

This is a full time role (35 hours per week). Standard hours Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm plus match days & Events


Requirements & Prospects


A minimum of 5 GCSE’s C and above Including Maths, English and ICT (or equivalents).

Desired Skills

  1. Proficient IT user (Word, Excel and Powerpoint)
  2. Highly organised
