Job Description

A great opportunity to join a leading provider in IT solutions and to gain a career in accountancy. A credit control apprentice is needed to support our Credit Control team in the creation and processing of invoices and smashing our cash collection targets.

Vacancy Description – List of Main Duties:


  • Manage the end to end Credit Control process for internal and external customers
  • Collection of debts by telephone, fax and email
  • Achieve team cash targets on Hardware Group ledger
  • Process and generate invoices, credit notes, reminder letters and fortnightly statements
  • Liaise effectively with both internal and external departments relevant to maintaining customer accounts and resolving outstanding queries
  • Process new account applications and run credit reports for risk assessments
  • General Administration and general housekeeping

Working Week

Monday – Friday 8:30am-5:30pm


Requirements & Prospects


Ideally a minimum 4 GCSE’s C and above Including Maths, English and ICT (or equivalents)

Throughout the duration of your Apprenticeship you will be required to attend the 3aaa Accountancy Academy in Swindon on a day release basis, the remainder of your training will be completed in the workplace.

You will work to achieve the highly recognised AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) qualification and receive MAAT (Member of Association of Accounting Technicians) status.

You will be learning about all aspects of Accounting and learning new skills related to how businesses work. On the Apprenticeship there will be a good mixture of hands-on practical work and written work.
