This is an amazing opportunity for a passionate, talented and hard-working designer to unleash their creative flare and be part of our dedicated and enthusiastic team, using the latest industry software’s.

The role will include creating eye-catching designs, rich marketing materials for print, engaging social media content and lots more.

Duties to include:

·         Create exciting designs for print

·         Working within a young team

·         To create materials for print use

·         Creating engaging social media content and imagery for this

·         Use of Design software, including Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, After Effects ect.

·         Some video editing skills would be useful to record and edit videos for the company.

  • Matching colours to the pre-press proofs
  • Restocking ink levels
  • Feeding the print materials into the presses
  • Putting job data into computerised control units
  • Carrying out quality checks during the print run
  • Identifying problems and fixing faults
  • Cleaning presses after a print run has finished (either by hand or using automatic cleaning systems)
  • Carrying out basic machine maintenance.

You would mainly work on a particular type of press, but you would train in a variety of printing techniques.

  • Digital printing – using inkjet and laser printing methods
  • Lithographic  – the most widely used method and often used for large print runs such as catalogues, leaflets and magazines

On the large press, you will work as part of a team

Working Week

40 hours per week Monday to Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm Possibly on shift system which could include nights. Overtime is often available.


Requirements & Prospects


Ideally a minimum 5 GCSE’s C and above Including Maths, English and ICT (or equivalents)

Throughout the duration of the Apprenticeship you will be required to attend the 3aaa Digital Marketing Academy based in Norwich for an intensive 3-day block study. This is followed by attendance at the Academy on day release once a month thereafter for structured training, and the remainder of the training will be completed in the workplace. The Apprentice will work towards an Advanced Apprenticeship in Digital Marketing. The Apprenticeship consists of:
• Level 3 Diploma in Digital Marketing
• Level 2 Functional Skills English, Maths, ICT (if applicable)
