Job DescriptionAn exciting opportunity for a budding young individual who wants to pursue a career in graphic design and marketing, prior design experience is desirable and a keen passion for the creative industry. You will work in a well-established, growing business with plenty of opportunity for you to develop with them as part of the team.
The successful candidate must be a creative individual with a keen eye for detail, methodical approach and possess strong creative skills. You will be responsible for various aspects of creative design from creating designs for web to press (and everything in-between), providing design guidance as required and helping deliver on all marketing activity from a creative perspective.
To apply for this position, candidates will need to be well organised, able to manage a demanding workload and be an excellent communicator. The successful candidate will be professional, hardworking and reliable – with a bright, enthusiastic personality and the ability to work effectively as part of a team or on lone projects.
Working Week08:00 – 16:30 Monday - Friday 37.5 hours per week
Requirements & Prospects
QualificationsIdeally a minimum 4 GCSE’s C and above Including Maths, English and ICT (or equivalents)
Desired SkillsEssential Criteria:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High level of attention to detail
Able to work under pressure to meet deadlines
High level of computer literacy specifically Adobe CS and
Confident communicating face-to-face, telephone or via email with internal account managers
Confident managing projects from initial design brief through to delivery
Experience working in a marketing environment (if possible)
An active interest in art and design
Structured and organised
An eye for detail
