Job Description

Are you crazy for all things IT? Do you spend your spare time thinking IT? Computer Assistance have an excellent opportunity at their fast pasted center in Oxford for a Helpdesk Apprentice.

Our client is a one stop shop for all your IT needs. This is a fabulous opportunity for anyone interested in Hardware repairs, Software installation, Network installation or IT Help Desk. Because they specialises in such a variety of areas of IT you could be working in a few different areas.
Some of your daily tasks could include but are not limited to:
• Screen repair
• Network installation: cables, hubs & routers
• Software installation and/ or updates
• Virus removal and Antivirus installation
• Operating systems and application updates
• Mac repairs
• IT Help Desk Services
• Mobile Network installation & Hardware repairs
• Customer Service

Working Week

Monday – Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm 37.5hrs pw

Ideally a minimum 4 GCSE’s C and above Including Maths, English and ICT (or equivalents)

Throughout the duration of your Apprenticeship you will be required to attend the 3aaa Technology Academy in Oxford for up to 12 weeks on a block release basis for structured training. The remainder of your training will be completed in the workplace with your Employer. You will work towards a Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship for IT, Software, Web and Telecoms Professionals. The qualifications consist of:
• Edexcel Advanced Apprenticeship in IT, Software, Web and Telecoms
• L3 Diploma in ICT Professional Competence
• L3 Extended Diploma in ICT Systems and Principles
• Level 2 Functional Skills English, Maths & ICT (if applicable)
