Job Description

Provide administrative support to meet the needs of the HR department, i.e. word processing, photocopying, scanning, emailing etc.


  • Organise and maintain appropriate filing and records systems.
  • Assisting the HR team with recruitment projects as required.
  • Other ad-hoc duties as required, reporting to management.
  • Enter new starter information onto the relevant systems/trackers.
  • Deal with incoming and outgoing post.
  • Responding and advising on queries received from candidates, employees and line managers in a professional and timely manner, escalating issues when required.
  • To assist the department in monthly payroll.
  • Carryout reference check where applicable.
  • Maintain an awareness of HR best practice at all times.
  • Undertake general administrative HR tasks to assist the HR Department, as specified by Senior HR Advisor
  • To take enquires over the telephones for employees, potential employees, agencies and third parties and redirect calls as necessary.

  • To deal with colleagues openly and fairly at all times and promote mutual respect within the team.
  • To ensure professionally confidentiality at all times.
  • Update and maintain reports, spreadsheets and correspondence using a variety of computer packages including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Provide interview preparations to candidates
  • Interact with all employees at different levels of the organisation.
  • Attend meetings to take notes


Working Week

Monday – Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm 37.5 hours per week


Requirements & Prospects


Ideally a minimum 4 GCSE’s C and above Including Maths, English and ICT (or equivalents)
