Job Description

Do you enjoy problem solving and fixing and repairing gadgets across a broad spectrum? Well, look no further for your perfect role. This Romford based company are looking for an Apprentice Repair Technician to join their team!

This is a very hands on technical Apprenticeship role. Full training and support will be given throughout the Apprenticeship.

  • The majority of repair types include replacement LCD and touch screens, repair/replacement charging ports, power buttons, batteries and general damage repairs
  • Repairing laptops, completing software updates
  • As a company who rely on their reputation for customer satisfaction, the successful candidate will train to carry out repairs to the highest standard, recognising and addressing imperfections due to service or parts alike before signing a repair off as complete
  • The successful applicant must be hard working, take pride in their work and be able to work as a part of a team, pooling information, communicating effectively with other staff members and using their initiative to aid efficiency
  • Other duties will include data clearing devices using our bespoke software tools and quality control testing
  • Recycling Products.

Working Week

Monday – Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm


Requirements & Prospects


Ideally a minimum 4 GCSE’s C and above Including Maths, English, ICT and a Science (or equivalents)

Throughout the duration of your Apprenticeship you will be required to attend the 3aaa Technology Academy in Romford for up to 16 weeks on a block release basis for structured training. The remainder of your training will be completed in the workplace with your Employer. You will work towards a Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship for IT, Software, Web and Telecoms Professionals. The qualifications consist of:
• Edexcel Advanced Apprenticeship in IT, Software, Web and Telecoms
• L3 Diploma in ICT Professional Competence
• L3 Extended Diploma in ICT Systems and Principles
• Level 2 Functional Skills English, Maths, ICT (if applicable)
