Job Description

Do you have basic code skills and are keen to learn more? Do you have an interest software programming and would like a career in this field with a forward thinking company where you can progress?

Main duties:

  • Testing the software
  • Answering calls and supporting new and current customers with using the company’s Fleet Maintenance Software.
  • Writing and supporting both new and existing bespoke applications and databases.
  • Creating and executing detailed unit tests for your code.
  • Creating reports and queries to help users pull through data as needed.
  • Writing technical documentation for all code and components that you create.

Full training will be given and the programming languages used are:

VB.NET, SQL, LINQ

  •          Databases & Data Exchange: SQL Server, XML
  •          Technologies & Frameworks: .NET, Web Services
  •          Web: ASP.NET Web Forms, ASP.NET MVC, HTML5,                        CSS

 

The ideal candidate with have basic code skills in any language and a strong interest in code with a desire to learn more.

Working Week

Monday – Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm

Training

Throughout the duration of your Apprenticeship you will be required to attend the 3aaa Technology Academy in Tamworth for up to 12 weeks on a block release basis for structured training. The remainder of your training will be completed in the workplace with your Employer. You will work towards a Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship for IT, Software, Web and Telecoms Professionals. The qualifications consist of:
• Edexcel Advanced Apprenticeship in IT, Software, Web and Telecoms
• L3 Diploma in ICT Professional Competence
• L3 Extended Diploma in ICT Systems and Principles
• Level 2 Functional Skills English, Maths, ICT (if applicable)
