Job Description

Established IT support company looking to take on an apprentice to provide an IT support. This role will take on many aspects of IT support and will require the candidate to be flexible and able to take on different roles. If you are passionate about IT, this could be the perfect job for you.
  • Provide Technical Support/Helpdesk function for Clients. This support may be provided:

By phone

Remote control

  • Working on client equipment at the Company’s offices

On client site

  • Work on projects to help deliver new services and solutions to clients
  • Co-ordinate external work being carried out by Associates and Sub-Contractors
  • Use the Company’s management system to record:

To record all time – Billable and non-billable

  • Solutions & resolutions to report to clients and build knowledge base

Opportunities and maintain/update client profiles

Working Week

Monday – Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm


Requirements & Prospects


Ideally a minimum 4 GCSE’s C and above Including Maths, English and ICT (or equivalents)

Throughout the duration of your Apprenticeship you will be required to attend the 3aaa Technology Academy in Bristol for up to 12 weeks on a block release basis for structured training. The remainder of your training will be completed in the workplace with your Employer. You will work towards a Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship for IT, Software, Web and Telecoms Professionals. The qualifications consist of:
• Edexcel Advanced Apprenticeship in IT, Software, Web and Telecoms
• L3 Diploma in ICT Professional Competence
• L3 Extended Diploma in ICT Systems and Principles
• Level 2 Functional Skills English, Maths, ICT (if applicable)
