The ideal candidate will be passionate about IT and enjoy problem solving along with helping others. The main day to duties will include:
• Providing basic IT support to customers over the telephone
• Answering customer telephone calls
• Problem solving
• Updating the computer system and logging details of calls
• General office duties
• Telephoning customers back to help who have requested a call to help resolve basic IT issues
• Providing first line support
• Using remote access when needed to resolve computer issues for customers
• Occasional face to face customer support
For this role you need to have an excellent telephone manner, first class customer service skills and a passion for IT. You will need to confident in using your own initiative as well as working as part of a small team.

Working Week

Monday – Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm

Training

Throughout the duration of your Apprenticeship you will be required to attend the 3aaa Technology Academy in Tamworth for up to 12 weeks on a block release basis for structured training. The remainder of your training will be completed in the workplace with your Employer. You will work towards a Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship for IT, Software, Web and Telecoms Professionals. The qualifications consist of:
• Edexcel Advanced Apprenticeship in IT, Software, Web and Telecoms
• L3 Diploma in ICT Professional Competence
• L3 Extended Diploma in ICT Systems and Principles
• Level 2 Functional Skills English, Maths, ICT (if applicable)
