Third Dimension is looking for a Marketing Apprentice to assist the Marketing Executive to create, coordinate and implement product marketing and corporate branding activity across all channels of communication. With a flexible and friendly working environment, the successful applicant will join the team in Bristol.
To assist in the smooth roll out of new products and applications to market, as well as the continued marketing and PR efforts around existing products, applications, generating company news and carrying out day to day administrative responsibilities.
The marketing apprentice will focus on digital marketing, including management and upkeep of our social media profiles, website and internal systems. Provide input and assistance in the creation of new material, branding and coordination of all supporting marketing activities. Help to ensure we build and maintain a strong brand across all aspects of the business.
Build and manage social media profiles.
Plan and execute both creative and content updates to the website which will involve implementation of new content, changes to the structure and SEO efforts.
Assist in managing communication with external suppliers, PR and branding agencies.
Assist in drafting marketing copy for website, editorial and literature where required.
Interact with other departments to pull together information for monthly internal and quarterly distributor newsletters.
Track website performance and trends.
Assist in coordinating attendance at exhibitions.
Source and manage the procurement of promotional items.
Marketing administrative duties using Salesforce that include; managing and updating mailing lists and price book imagery, uploading exhibition leads and processing purchase orders.
Ensuring up to date availability of marketing material on internal systems and distribution of material to resellers.
Working WeekMonday – Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm
Requirements & Prospects
QualificationsIdeally a minimum 4 GCSE’s C and above Including Maths, English and ICT (or equivalents) An excellent GCSE and/or A Level grade in English Language would be significantly advantageous.
Desired Skills• Understanding of basic marketing principles.
• Ability to account for the differences between B2B and B2C marketing.
• Capable of picking up basic technical understanding of the products.
• Ability to prioritise jobs and work to deadlines.
• Ability to use MS Office programs such as PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
• Knowledge of website management (in particular Joomla CMS) • Experience using Photoshop or general photo editing skills.
• Understanding of Google analytics, Google search console and search engine optimisation
