Deposit Sense has been in existence for over 7 years and is now reaching the stage of its development that will define the company for many years to come. This is a grass roots opportunity and can provide an individual with the opportunity to grow with Deposit Sense and to influence the growth of the business.

The Role
The role can progress as far as the individual’s capability can allow them. The role is very varied. Every day will be different. The individual will be in control of their own development and their exposure to new responsibilities within the business.
No previous experience is necessary as all training will be provided.
The responsibilities of the role start at the core of the cash management proposition.
The proposition is totally reliant upon the quality of the data held and managed within the system. The first level of responsibility for the role is therefore to make sure all the data is accurate and up to date.
The second line responsibility will be to manage the involvement of our members from the initial enquiry, through the demonstration of the system to fully supporting members when they are trying to maximise the value they achieve from the cash management proposition.
The role requires someone to nurture relationships with our members, to extend their use of the system and to lead members into utilising other services that we provide on top of the cash management proposition.
Additionally, as capability improves, there will be involvement in marketing initiatives, social media campaigns, seminars, articles and development exercises for our members.
Eventually, site visits with members, group training exercises and the core management of relationships with member firms.
Promotion of the system is generally made via senior relationships with key influencers within the financial services, legal and accountancy professions. Ultimately the individual will, where capability allows, be able to manage existing relationships and be shown how to nurture and develop new relationships to further progress the commercial performance of the business.

The Individual
The individual will have an extreme hunger, and capacity, to learn quickly, to develop their skills and to increase the influence they have on the business.
They will be able to work in a diverse environment, be able to multi task and to manage business objectives and priorities to ensure the best and most effective outcomes are always achieved.
Keen to impress, progress and deliver, the individual will have a good focus on detail and a hunger to deliver.
Having the ability to face challenges with energy and enthusiasm, they will contribute to a positive and rewarding environment.
Communication will be one of the most significant characteristics held by the individual. The will be able to communicate issues clearly and concisely. They will be able to determine the difference between important and urgent issues and they will communicate quickly to ensure all issues are resolved.

Training and Development
Full training and development shall be provided by the business.
The initial training shall focus upon:
• The core knowledge required to understand cash products
• The cash product providers (banks and building societies)
• The cash management proposition
• The cash management system
• The financial services industry
Full training on the operation of the system and how it is used to:
• Maximise the value of cash
• Create new commercial opportunities for our members
• Create regulatory value to our members
Training will continue to understand the commercial opportunity, the sales and promotion of the product.
Full support will be provided to help the individual to achieve their apprenticeship qualification, and further training and qualifications for the financial services industry will provided after successful completion of the apprenticeship qualification.
Creating an environment of continuous learning is advantageous for the business and all efforts to promote the development of any individual within the business is taken very seriously.

Working Week

Monday – Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm


Requirements & Prospects


A minimum of 5 GCSE’s C and above Including Maths, English and ICT (or equivalents)

Desired Skills

  1. Efficient in Microsoft packages such as Excel, Outlook
  2. Great Customer Service Skills

All training will be provided. The business operates a very progressive policy towards personal development. Full training will be provided to learn the system, the proposition and the responsibilities of the role. Full support will be provided to complete the apprenticeship program.
