Job DescriptionAn opportunity for a digital and online marketing apprentice that wants to learn and develop skills with SEO, analytics, social media and PPC. Working on client accounts to develop strategies to increase their social media engagement, run campaigns, evaluate and report the results and amend the ongoing strategies.
The Online and Digital Marketing Apprentice will work under the direct supervision of the MD and social media manager and will be learning alongside this team to develop a strong knowledge base and client offering.
They will be expected to learn and implement a range of skills, identifying their own training opportunities, setting goals and taking responsibility for the projects they are working on. And establishing a process for each task for others to clearly follow.
SEO; Developing strategy and implementation across a range of applications and activities (planning, choosing keywords etc)
Social media: Content strategy and content creation. Acquiring subscribers, lead generation. Analytics.
Email Marketing: Email marketing campaign development, mailing list management, evaluation.
PPC: Support the management of an organisation’s pay-per-click (PPC)advertising campaigns
Content writing for websites, SEO analysis and fix implementation.
Working WeekMonday – Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm 35 HOURS PER WEEK
Requirements & Prospects
QualificationsIdeally a minimum 4 GCSE’s C and above Including Maths, English and ICT (or equivalents)
Desired SkillsComputer Literate; Excel, word, publisher, Powerpoint. Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Hootsuite. Able to work on own initiative, able to work with constructive criticism, able to work in a fast paced environment on a range of projects simultaneously
