Job Description

Fantastic opportunity to join a Software development company as part of the Sales and Development team.

You will take control of the order once signed and deliver the solution as specified, communicating with the customer directly as well as internally with Sales and Development.

Specific Responsibilities

 Analysing user requirements

 Research and design of solutions based on our hosted Customer Relationship Management solution OpenCRM

 Communicating with clients to understand, discuss and deliver solutions

 Writing FAQ’s and other customer facing documentation to support the implementation process

 Testing new features and documenting enhancements as required

 Investigating new technology and keeping abreast of the marketplace including assessing competitive applications

 Delivering KickStart Training using web technology

Working Week

Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm


Requirements & Prospects


A minimum of 5 GCSE’s C and above Including Maths and English (or equivalents)

Throughout the duration of your Apprenticeship (typically 15 months) you will be required to attend the 3aaa Technology Academy in Middlesbrough for 16 days of training. The remainder of your training will be completed in the workplace with your Employer. You will work towards a Level 3 Apprenticeship standard –Software Development Technician. The qualifications consist of:
• Level 2 Functional Skills English and Maths (if applicable)
• Knowledge Module 1 – Software Development Methodologies Part 1 (Introduction)
• Knowledge Module 2 – Programming Part 1 (Introduction)
• Knowledge Module 1 – Software Development Methodologies Part 2 (Plus Exam)
• Knowledge Module 2 – Programming Part 2 (Plus Exam)
Knowledge Modules are specified by the British Computer Society (BCS)
