Job Description

Our client are looking for an aspiring software developer to join their team as the company grows. Specialising in bespoke software solutions for the engineering industry this is a great opportunity to join an experienced and growing company.

Our client are looking for someone to join their growing team of software developers. They are at the forefront of software design and remains the leading developer of standard, customised and bespoke technical software for the HVAV&R industry.  

They write software for Windows and the Web using Visual Studio, C++, C#, Javascript, ASP.Net.

The daily activities will be focussed around developing new software and creating new ideas to help move the business forward. There will also be 1st line support required to deal with enquiries coming into the office. 

This is a unique and exciting opportunity for someone looking to start a career in the software development industry.

(Full training and support will be provided as part of the 12 month apprenticeship)

Working Week

Monday – Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm 37.5hrs pw


Requirements & Prospects


Ideally a minimum 4 GCSE’s C and above Including Maths, English and ICT (or equivalents)

Desired Skills

You should have strong mathematical and problem solving skills. An interest in software development is essential and any experience in software programming would be highly beneficial.

Personal Qualities

You should passionate about IT and eager to develop your skills in software development. You should have the ability to learn quickly and enjoy keeping up with the latest developments in software programming. You need to be a self-starter with lots of enthusiasm and motivation.

Throughout the duration of your Apprenticeship you will be required to attend the 3aaa Technology Academy in Bedford for up to 12 weeks on a block release basis for structured training. The remainder of your training will be completed in the workplace with your Employer. You will work towards a Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship for IT, Software, Web and Telecoms Professionals. The qualifications consist of:
• Edexcel Advanced Apprenticeship in IT, Software, Web and Telecoms
• L3 Diploma in ICT Professional Competence
• L3 Extended Diploma in ICT Systems and Principles
• Level 2 Functional Skills English, Maths & ICT (if applicable)
