Job Description

We have a great opportunity to work within a well-established business who has been established for over 25yrs who provide EPOS and Catering solutions to the U.K. Hospitality sector.

We are looking for a junior .NET developer to confidently drive our current product onto a web platform. An experience within the EPOS/Hospitality industry would be advantageous but not necessary. It is essential that you are a strong problem solver, with high attention to detail, proactive, flexible & results driven. The ideal candidate will be a forward thinker and somebody who is happy and able to take responsibility of their workload and projects and able to manage time accordingly. This is the ideal position for an ambitious individual looking to make a mark in a fast moving industry and build a career.


The Role


The role will involve working within a small team of developers collaborating on a variety of solutions. However the main focus for this role initially will be the design & development of a reporting platform, to expand on our existing EPOS software.


Some of the key responsibilities are:


Produce well documented reliable code

Debug and resolve any bugs

Develop, and run with ideas suggested from all areas of the company, and     our customers

Suggest and implement improvements to our current products

Provide technical support where required for our customers, and support   teams


Advantageous experience/knowledge:










(Full training and support will be provided as part of the 12 month Apprenticeship)

Working Week

Monday – Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm


Requirements & Prospects


Ideally a minimum 4 GCSE’s C and above Including Maths, English and ICT (or equivalents)

Future Prospects

Permanent employment is available for the successful applicant on completion of their Apprenticeship. Progression to Level 4, Higher Apprenticeship, may also be possible.

Throughout the duration of your Apprenticeship you will be required to attend the 3aaa Technology Academy in Bedford for up to 12 weeks on a block release basis for structured training. The remainder of your training will be completed in the workplace with your Employer. You will work towards a Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship for IT, Software, Web and Telecoms Professionals. The qualifications consist of:
• Edexcel Advanced Apprenticeship in IT, Software, Web and Telecoms
• L3 Diploma in ICT Professional Competence
• L3 Extended Diploma in ICT Systems and Principles
• Level 2 Functional Skills English, Maths, ICT (if applicable)
