Job Description

EKM’s talented team is currently expanding and they need someone who is passionate about starting an exciting career with them in digital Marketing. The role will focus around tweaking web-sites, optimisation and a range of customer support based activity.
  • Perform tweaks to websites using HTML and CSS.
  • Identify websites which require improvements.
  • Assist in web content and flow whilst also identifying areas for improvement.
  • Assist and support with Search engine optimisation
  • Assist in articles and other written material as appropriate.
  • Providing administrative assistance where needed.
  • Monitor and report on the impact of social media activities.

Help promote and enhance the image of the Company by providing an excellent customer experience.

Working Week

Monday – Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm


Requirements & Prospects


A minimum of 5 GCSE’s C and above Including Maths and English (or equivalents)

Throughout the duration of your Apprenticeship (typically 15 months) you will be required to attend the 3aaa Technology Academy in Blackburn for 16 days of training. The remainder of your training will be completed in the workplace with your Employer. You will work towards a Level 3 Apprenticeship standard –Software Development Technician. The qualifications consist of:
• Level 2 Functional Skills English and Maths (if applicable)
• Knowledge Module 1 – Software Development Methodologies Part 1 (Introduction)
• Knowledge Module 2 – Programming Part 1 (Introduction)
• Knowledge Module 1 – Software Development Methodologies Part 2 (Plus Exam)
• Knowledge Module 2 – Programming Part 2 (Plus Exam)
Knowledge Modules are specified by the British Computer Society (BCS)
