Job Description

  • Investigate customer reported problems connecting to customer sites as appropriate. Replicate issues and resolve according to contract SLAs.
  • Co-ordinate with the development team to resolve problems requiring code change. Ensure all changes are tested
  • Deliver patches / new programs to customers to resolve issues
  • Ensure customer information records are accurately maintained for each installed customer, providing all the necessary information to provide a superior customer support
  • Build effective relationships with both internal and external customers


  • Identify and implement all opportunities to eliminate the re-occurrence of problems
  • Ensure customers are kept advised of problem progression and urgent problem fixes are dispatched promptly
  • Escalate major issues ensuring key internal staff are kept advised of impact and solution progression

Maintain an in-depth understanding of the product, its operation, interface to external systems and data structure

Working Week

Monday – Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm 37.5 hrs pw


Requirements & Prospects


Ideally a minimum 4 GCSE’s C and above Including Maths, English and ICT (or equivalents)

Throughout the duration of your Apprenticeship you will be required to attend the 3aaa Technology Academy in Bristol for up to 12 weeks on a block release basis for structured training. The remainder of your training will be completed in the workplace with your Employer. You will work towards a Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship for IT, Software, Web and Telecoms Professionals. The qualifications consist of:
• Edexcel Advanced Apprenticeship in IT, Software, Web and Telecoms
• L3 Diploma in ICT Professional Competence
• L3 Extended Diploma in ICT Systems and Principles
• Level 2 Functional Skills English, Maths, ICT (if applicable)
