Immersive require an apprentice support engineer to help commission, maintain and give technical support to our growing network of immersive environments across the UK. You must have a driving license for this position
The job will entail visiting these sites in schools, universities and other locations maintaining and occasionally replacing this equipment and ensuring everything is in good running order. It will also include the initial commissioning of these spaces by connected the equipment to the PC, calibrating and testing it. The role will also include some training on how to use the equipment to the customers.


These environments include a variety of audio-visual and IT equipment including projectors, cameras, speakers, LED lighting, DMX effects, amplifiers and sensors connected to a powerful PC running Immersive’s software.


Main Accountabilities

●       Checking and maintaining AV and IT equipment

●       Commissioning spaces utilizing immersive and other 3rd party software

●       Basic operations training for customers

●       Covering our network of spaces across locations


Working Week

Monday – Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm


Requirements & Prospects


A minimum of 5 GCSE’s C and above Including Maths, English and ICT (or equivalents)

Throughout the duration of your Apprenticeship you will be required to attend the 3aaa Technology Academy in for a day release basis ever week for 46 weeks structured training. The remainder of your training will be completed in the workplace with your Employer. Assessment of the Competence component (Edexcel) will be carried out in the workplace over the full duration of the program. The assessor will visit the apprentices in the workplace at-least once every 6-8 weeks to gather evidence. Your training will consist of:

• Edexcel BTEC Level 4 Diploma in Professional Competence for IT and Telecoms Professionals (QCF).
• City & Guilds Level 4 Diploma for ICT Professional
• Level 2 Functional Skills English, Maths, ICT (if applicable)
