An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a unique creative studio as an apprentice web developer. We are looking for a passionate individual with a keen interest in creating and building websites to become part of our dynamic team.

  • Updating and maintaining websites for clients
  • Using content management frameworks such as WordPress and Joomla
  • Developing and building websites for clients
  • Working with the creative team to design websites to the needs of clients
  • Using plug-ins or building custom modules/components to achieve extra functionality needed
  • Assisting and supporting with Google Adwords campaigns for customers
  • Dealing with client enquiries

Working Week

Monday – Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm


Requirements & Prospects


A minimum of 5 GCSE’s C and above Including Maths, English and ICT (or equivalents)

Desired Skills

• Passion for creating websites
• Some coding ability is desirable (ideally HTML, CSS or PHP)
• Knowledge of CMS systems such as Wordpress or Joomla would be beneficial

Throughout the duration of your Apprenticeship (typically 15 months) you will be required to attend the 3aaa Technology Academy in Liverpool for 16 days of training. The remainder of your training will be completed in the workplace with your Employer. You will work towards a Level 3 Apprenticeship standard –Software Development Technician. The qualifications consist of:
• Level 2 Functional Skills English and Maths (if applicable)
• Knowledge Module 1 – Software Development Methodologies Part 1 (Introduction)
• Knowledge Module 2 – Programming Part 1 (Introduction)
• Knowledge Module 1 – Software Development Methodologies Part 2 (Plus Exam)
• Knowledge Module 2 – Programming Part 2 (Plus Exam)
Knowledge Modules are specified by the British Computer Society (BCS)
