An exciting opportunity has arrived to join an expanding cutting edge technology business. We are looking for ambitious staff to join our highly successful Web Development team creating bespoke websites and covering a large variety of online services
Premier EPOS are looking for a stand out candidate to join their expanding team of excellent customer service providers, giving remote support to our clients all over the UK and Europe. You will also be responsible for giving web related support and solving technical issues over the phone and also via email and face to face.

The successful applicant will have a high level of understanding of Computers both software and hardware and will have an interest in learning new things related to computers. The Candidate will ideally have knowledge and experience in key areas such as:

• The Microsoft office suite.

• SQL management Studio and/or MySQL

• Adobe Creative Suite (Primarily Photoshop and Illustrator)

• Joomla and Magento CMS (Content Management Systems).

• HTML and CSS

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

Design and build Websites and Web Pages to meet our diverse clients’ requirements

Provide client support and technical issue resolution via E-Mail, phone and other electronic medium.

Provide training to clients in the use of system and applications as related to Internet.

Able to promptly answer support related email, phone calls and other electronic communications.

The successful candidate will be good at communicating and working as part of a team. We are looking for candidates who are willing to go above and beyond in the call of duty to make themselves indispensable to our growing business.

Monday – Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm

Qualifications

A minimum of 5 GCSE’s C and above Including Maths and English (or equivalents)

Desired Skills

Able to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines.
Experience with hardware and software issues.
Proficient in Internet related applications such as E-Mail clients, FTP clients and Web Browsers.
Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skills

Training

Throughout the duration of your Apprenticeship (typically 15 months) you will be required to attend the 3aaa Technology Academy in Manchester for 16 days of training. The remainder of your training will be completed in the workplace with your Employer. You will work towards a Level 3 Apprenticeship standard –Software Development Technician. The qualifications consist of:
• Level 2 Functional Skills English and Maths (if applicable)
• Knowledge Module 1 – Software Development Methodologies Part 1 (Introduction)
• Knowledge Module 2 – Programming Part 1 (Introduction)
• Knowledge Module 1 – Software Development Methodologies Part 2 (Plus Exam)
• Knowledge Module 2 – Programming Part 2 (Plus Exam)
Knowledge Modules are specified by the British Computer Society (BCS)
