Job Description

Are you looking to kick-start your career in Web Development? Indicoll need an apprentice web developer who is enthusiastic, passionate about computing, and enjoys a challenge to support their digital communications team.

As Web Developer Apprentice you will undertake the following duties: –



  • Working on client websites you’ll help to turn client specifications into actual solutions whilst learning from a supportive team who will help you to become a better more rounded developer
  • Apply knowledge and understanding of HTML, JavaScript, PHP and other languages to web development projects, maximising user engagement and functionality
  • Maintain and update company website and other social media platforms
  • Receive telephone call from clients
  • Blogging
  • Contribute to a positive working atmosphere as a positive team member
  • Communicate regularly and effectively, and to respond to internal and client driven messages
  • Writing good quality code that adheres to team coding standards with an eye for detail of your work

Working Week

Monday – Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm


Requirements & Prospects


Ideally a minimum 4 GCSE’s C and above Including Maths, English and ICT (or equivalents)

Throughout the duration of your Apprenticeship you will be required to attend the 3aaa Technology Academy in Hull for up to 12 weeks on a block release basis for structured training. The remainder of your training will be completed in the workplace with your Employer. You will work towards a Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship for IT, Software, Web and Telecoms Professionals. The qualifications consist of:
• Edexcel Advanced Apprenticeship in IT, Software, Web and Telecoms
• L3 Diploma in ICT Professional Competence
• L3 Extended Diploma in ICT Systems and Principles
• Level 2 Functional Skills English, Maths & ICT (if applicable)
